Pinning Ceremony

The Teacher Education Programs Pinning Ceremony is a meaningful tradition that celebrates students as they reach an important milestone in their journey toward becoming educators. Bringing together students, faculty, family, and friends, the ceremony recognizes the dedication and accomplishments of teacher candidates as they prepare to enter the profession. Through the presentation of their education pins, students are welcomed into the teaching profession and encouraged to carry forward the knowledge, compassion, and commitment they have developed throughout their preparation.
